Bagaimana cara menggunakan xrdp pada ubuntu yang benar..?

Hallo om, ada kah yang sudah pernah meremot dekstop Ubuntu menggunakan remot dekstop Protocol dari windows dengan menggunakan xrdp / Xorg pada Ubuntunya ?

saya sudah mencoba menginstallnya, tetapi tidak mau menampilkan GUI nya dekdop nya

Sudah coba login , namun langsung seperti forceclose gt tampa ada informasi error

belum pernah ngalami,
sejauh ini aman sih, pakai ubuntu di instal xrdp
cukup install xrdp, allow port lalu remot langsung oke

Desktop environtmentnya pake apa?
Kalau pakenya seperti lxde, atau xfce mungkin bisa coba pasang x2go yang simple. Gak ada yang perlu dikonfigurasi di sisi vpsnya setelah package x2go dipasang. Aksesnya menggunakan port yang sama dengan akses ke sshnya. Jad isecara default udah encrypted sessionnya.

Kalau default ubuntu biasanya sih gnome. Selanjutnya yang perlu dicari tau adalah default display servernya, apa itu xorg/x-11, wayland atau yang lainnya. Karena setau saya x2go hanya support xorg/x-11.

Bisa cek dari command ini buat lihat display server apa yang running:

echo $XDG_SESSION_TYPE

Apabila hasil yang muncul adalah x11, maka display servernya xorg. Kalau hasil yang muncul wayland, maka display servernya adalah wayland.
Coomand ini perlu dijalanin lewat terminal console, nggak bisa lewat ssh. Karena kalau dijalanin lewat ssh, apapun display servernya, hasilnya adalah tty.

kalo misal untuk remote jauh, bisa pakai xfce om
requirement to install : xfce4 xfce4-goodies

jangan lupa tulis ini di terminal : echo xfce4-session > ~/.xsession
setelah itu tinggal restart service xrdpnya
