Hello,

As FraudRecord, we would like to warn you about some disturbing news about WHMCS that transpired recently.

If you are using WHMCS, please know that whmcs.com website and all data under it has been compromised, and the data has been leaked. If you have been paying your WHMCS license fees via Credit Card on file, you'll need to cancel those cards, as it has been verified that the card numbers are readable by public. Email logs and hashed user passwords have been made public as well. So if you use your whmcs.com password in any other website, you will need to change those passwords too.

Currently, every single file and database hosted by whmcs.com has been made public, so any data you have trusted them in ticket logs or payments can be assumed accessible.

You can read more details on WebHostingTalk:

Dan ini juga email pemberitahuan dari LicensePal tempat saya beli WHMCS:

Dear IndoNIC,
We are writing to advise youabout an incident that occurred earlier today (May 21st, 2012) at WHMCS. Itappears that their servers have been compromised, including the licensingservers and ticket system. The hackers are claiming that they will shortly bepublishing a dump of WHMCS’s database to the public.
At this time, we are stronglyadvising all users to change passwords, that were used at WHMCS.com, on allother sites, as well as any server-related (FTP, SSH, etc.) credentials thatyou may have sent to WHMCS in a support ticket in the past. We also stronglyadvise that you monitor any billing methods that may currently be on file withWHMCS, this includes credit cards that we would suggest are cancelled as soonas possible.
WHMCS is currently claimingthat the hack has nothing to do with WHMCS itself. We are unable to confirm theextent of the attack and what information may be at risk at the current time.We strongly advise that you take extreme precautions immediately to prevent anypossible consequences.
I want to personally reassureyou that LicensePal and the information that we hold is unaffected by thishack. If you have purchased your license directly through us, then you shouldnot have to worry about your billing information. However, please be aware thatyour personal information would also be stored in their database.
If your license is presentlyreporting as invalid, please allow some time for WHMCS to get all of theirlicensing servers back online and functional. They are reporting updates at thefollowing site. WHMCS Site Downtime - WHMCS Forums
If you have any questions orconcerns, please open a ticket and we will address it for you to the best ofour ability.
Thank you for choosing LicensePal.

Best Regards,
